Vitality Plus Greens Ingredients

Let's get down to the recipe or technique part of it. For your blood building vitality enhancing juice, I recommend using four easily found greens and a good quality (preferably gluten free) ProBiotic Formula - read about ProBiotics at the bottom of page.

Celery – Kale – Parsley - Wheatgrass

  • Celery - Use celery as the foundation of your juice. Celery is high in sodium and very good for your digestive system - "It's not what you eat, it's what you absorb".
  • Kale – Kale is packed full of chlorophyll and are rich with the ability to alkalise and support the body's regenerative processes. Kale is also very good for building up muscle mass.

Like kale, spinach can also be used but I would advice with care. Both spinach and silverbeet can upset the stomach when taken in any amount. It is quite peculiar as sometimes there will be a reaction and sometimes not. Maybe it is the age of the plant or the growing conditions of the soil, but experience has definately shown care must be taken with both these greens.

  • Parsley – A cup of fresh parsley (about 100g) apparently contains more beta carotene than a large carrot, almost twice as much vitamin C as an orange, more calcium than a cup of milk, and twenty times as much iron as a serving of liver.
  • Wheatgrass - Wheatgrass juice is 70% chlorophyll and as chlorophyll is antibacterial it can be used inside and outside the body as a healer. Wheatgrass juice is easily digested, maybe only minutes so it uses very little body energy to absorb it. It purifies the liver, tones the kidneys, improves the skin, hair and nails... it's just GOOD!!! Do some personal research on this marvellous juice and it will indeed fortify the discipline one needs to be a green juice drinker.

How much should I use per person?

Of course the freshness and hydration of the greens you use will differ, but generally speaking for one person and having enough juice for at least two drinks for the day, I would use...

  • 3 big sticks of celery plus some leaves
  • 2 big kale leaves or 4-6 small leaves
  • As for parsley, make both hands into a fist and place them together. Picture your two fists as a little tree of parsley. This will work a treat. Juice the parsley last as it tends to make cleaning of your juicer easier.
  • If you have a 12inch x 12inch container of wheatgrass, I would use a quarter of it per juice.

When you've juiced your greens… Dilute your juice by a ratio of 1:1

That is - One part juice… One part water.

Then add to it, 1 serving per person of

RejuvaGreen Gluten Free Probiotic Formula

And there will be one less person helping to push up daisy's.

About ProBiotics

Why should I add probiotics to my juice or my diet?

  • Without the proper balance of friendly bacteria neither human nor plant can exist!
  • Without the proper balance of friendly bacteria in the human body, all supplements, nutrients, remedies and therapies become expensive waste!
  • There are 12 key bacteria that exist in the human body. If just one is missing an imbalance may occur! Acidophilus is only one single bacterium and needs the other 11 in order to be effective!
  • Friendly bacteria are responsible for making ALL nutrients available to your body!

Keep in mind a good flowing gastrointestinal tract allows for greater absorption of oxygen. So experiment with your juice; maybe add a couple of pieces of mint for extra flavour… Get into it.
